PA Bankers continues to advocate for the financial industry's right to compete in a fair and open marketplace. We represent the banking industry before Pennsylvania’s Legislature, Governor’s Office and various state departments and agencies.
Committees
- Government Relations Policy Committee
The association's legislative priorities and positions on state issues impacting member banks are determined by the Government Relations Policy Committee. The committee is dedicated to reviewing and monitoring relevant bills to keep members aware of changes throughout Pennsylvania.
- Advocacy Committee
In 2018, the PA Bankers board voted to elevate advocacy within the association. We have made tremendous strides to encourage advocacy among our members, giving you the tools you need to strengthen your voice and make an impact. As a result, we have created an Advocacy Committee, which is populated with representatives from other PA Bankers committees. This committee has incorporated advocacy into several of our professional development events and worked to increase our advocacy network through the annual Washington Visit, ABA Washington Summit, PA Bankers Day at the State Capitol and policy engagement with legislators.
