Inclusive Banking Resources

PA Bankers Association is committed to an inclusive workplace, as well as helping our members to achieve their inclusivity. To accomplish this, we share our very own inclusive banking statement, along with various resources for our members outlined below. We will update these resources as needed, so please check back regularly to see what is new.


PA Bankers' Inclusive Banking Statement

We promote and encourage an inclusive culture that values and supports all voices across our organization. We are committed to expanding access and opportunity and to eliminating barriers. We will promote inclusivity to our member banks by providing resources to support their inclusive banking efforts.

Inclusive Banking Advisory Group 

The Inclusive Banking Advisory Group supports and advises the board and senior staff on the following items:
  • Establishing a sustainable inclusive banking initiative for PA Bankers;
  • Ensuring a diverse and inclusive association board and organization;
  • Developing/facilitating inclusive banking training for our members;
  • Developing, expanding and evaluating potential resources and partnerships that support our members’ recruitment, retention and advancement efforts;
  • Developing inclusive supplier partnerships or resources to assist members with their supplier inclusion efforts; and
  • Other efforts and initiatives as needed. 

This group includes the current chairs (or their designee) of the Women in Banking and Young Professionals Committees, select banker representatives with diverse backgrounds, as well as others from outside of the organization with direct involvement in inclusive banking efforts within their organizations.


DEI TRACC

The roadmap, DEI TRACC – Taking Responsibility and Creating Culture, is a blueprint for member banks of all sizes to begin, refine and sustain effective inclusive banking efforts. This guide outlines the various phases involved in establishing long-term sustainable change, as well as what strategic steps should be taken to create an inclusive organization. 

DEI TRACC is a tool designed to provide practical tools and resources for our member banks to use, and it is scalable based on the bank size and resources available.

We hope you find the actionable steps outlined throughout this guide to be useful regardless of where you are in your inclusive banking journey.
